Vinnies
The St Vincent de Paul Society NSW (Vinnies) has been supporting people facing hardship and homelessness for 140 years through its network of members, volunteers and specialist staff.
Ensuring everyone has a safe, secure and stable place to call home is central to the work performed by Vinnies in local communities across the state every day. In 2021/22, 55% of people seeking support from Vinnies members reported experiencing housing stress.
Vinnies also operates a range of specialist homelessness services providing crisis accommodation, food, healthcare and support to establish sustainable housing over the long-term, as well as refuges which assisted 2,050 women and children escaping domestic and family violence during the past year.

For more than 160 years, Mission Australia has been an integral part of Australia’s social fabric, creating lasting change in the lives of vulnerable people by reducing homelessness and strengthening communities.
Mission Australia has been helping people move towards independence, and our commitment to this vital work has never been stronger.
Thanks to the support of Australians, together they've helped 149,096 people in 2023 by combatting homelessness, assisting disadvantaged families and children, addressing mental health issues, fighting substance dependencies, and much more.
In 2023, 91.0% of our income went straight back into delivering services that assisted vulnerable Australians.
The Salvos
The Salvation Army Homelessness Stream is committed to providing services that are inclusive and welcoming to all people – regardless of age, culture, ability, language spoken, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and intersex status.
Since its foundations in nineteenth century London, the Salvation Army expresses its faith in charitable work to provide both the spiritual and the social support.
The Salvation Army is the largest provider of homelessness services across the country. Providing services to adults, and families with accompanying children.
Its philosophy is that every person is afforded dignity, respect and quality of service and that no one should be without a safe, affordable and secure home. It's a human right.
